What to Compare Before Buying
- Compare the stated ratings with the requirements for the specific application. The longitudinal and lateral figures describe different loading directions.
- Check that the carabiner’s shape and dimensions work with the equipment and connection point in your setup; no specific compatibility details are provided.
- Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for selection and use. A stated rating or certification does not remove the need to use climbing equipment correctly.
