Key Details
| Detail | Product information and buyer relevance |
|---|---|
| Waist range | 34-52 inches; check the range against the intended wearer. |
| Carabiners | Two are listed, with a 25 kN rating. The source gives inconsistent standard references, so confirm the exact markings and applicable instructions. |
| Construction and features | The description specifies nylon with Hypalon reinforcement, zinc-alloy hardware, reinforced webbing, knot guards on the ropes, and 360-degree pivoting. |
| Weight and rating claims | The kit is described as under 5 lb and as having a 300-lb rating, but the scope of the latter is unclear. |
What to Compare Before Buying
- Check that the waist range suits the intended wearer and that the exact setup matches its instructions.
- Confirm the carabiner markings and the rating that applies to each component. A stated rating does not establish a safe working load or safety margin.
- Clarify what the 300-lb rating covers before relying on it for a particular component or configuration.
What Is Included
The listed kit contents include one Gen 4 tree climbing saddle with harness, a bridge, a tether, climbing-grade ropes, two 25 kN carabiners, and pouches. The description also refers to dual safety ropes, but does not clearly specify the rope quantity or pouch count. Confirm the exact contents of the selected configuration.
Important Limitations
The supplied description does not provide a setup procedure or define the scope of the 300-lb rating. Use the product-specific instructions for setup and use; do not infer suitability from a rating alone.
Before You Decide
Check waist fit, the exact included rope and pouch configuration, and the ratings and markings for the components in the intended setup.
