What to Compare Before Buying
- Sleeping capacity: Use the stated eight-person capacity if planning to use a stove, rather than the ten-person figure.
- Stove setup: The 5-inch jack is intended for a wood-burning stove, which is sold separately. Check the exact stove and setup requirements against the tent and stove manufacturers’ instructions before use.
- Site and transport: Allow for a 12 x 16 ft. tent footprint and plan around the listed 128-pound weight. Packed dimensions are not specified.
- Interior layout: Consider whether the 4 ft. side walls, 7.5 ft. peak and two end doors suit the planned arrangement and access needs.
