Quick Summary
The SuperEye Horizon X6 is a metal detector with six detection modes, eight sensitivity levels and a 10-inch IP68-rated search coil. Its control box is not waterproof, so the coil’s rating should not be taken to apply to the full detector.

Key Features Explained
NORM is presented as an intuitive mode for beginners. The six modes also include options named for all-metal detection, discrimination, memory, jewelry and pinpointing. The mode names identify the available selections; choose among them based on the detection task you have in mind.
The backlit LCD presents target type, depth and sensitivity information. The detector also has eight sensitivity levels, so the setting can be adjusted. For seawater use, the product instructions say to lower sensitivity to minimize interference.
What to Compare Before Buying
- Water exposure: The 10-inch coil is rated IP68, but the control box is not waterproof. The coil rating does not establish that the complete detector can be submerged.
- Stem range: Check whether the 35.4- to 49.2-inch adjustment range suits the intended user.
- Detection modes: Review the six named modes and decide whether their available selections match the type of detecting planned.
- Seawater use: The product description recommends lowering sensitivity in seawater to minimize interference.
What Is Included
The listed kit contents are a digging shovel with a protective cover, noise-canceling headphones, a carry bag and a 9V battery. Confirm that the selected configuration includes the accessories you want before choosing it.
Before You Decide
Check the coil and control-box water limitations separately, confirm the stem range and review the six modes. If the kit contents matter to your plans, verify that the shovel, cover, headphones, carry bag and 9V battery are included in the selected configuration.
