Key Details

What to Compare Before Buying

• Size range: The stem adjusts from 23.6" to 27.6". Compare that range with the child’s height and how the detector will be held during use.
• Included kit contents: This kit includes a shovel, a rake, and a bag. Check whether you want those items included with the detector itself.
• Wet-area use: The coil is waterproof. If the planned search area includes wet sand or damp ground, confirm that this coil feature matches the intended setting.

Before You Decide

Confirm the MD20 model, the stem range, and the included kit contents before choosing an offer. If the detector will be used around wet ground, keep the control box dry and follow the product instructions for the exact version.

Treasure Hunting With a Kids Kit

For a simple first outing, plan a short search in a backyard, park, or beach area where the child can practice sweeping slowly and using the included tools to collect small finds. The animation on the screen adds a visual cue when metal is detected, which may help keep the experience engaging for younger users.
