What to Compare Before Buying
- Size: Compare your winch dimensions with the measurements for the selected cover size before choosing.
- Winch type: The cover is described for standard and self-tailing winches, but check that the selected size suits your particular winch.
- Color: Choose from the available color options for the cover.
Compatibility, Size and Fit
The cover is described as fitting many popular sailboat winch brands, including Harken, Lewmar and Andersen, as well as other standard or self-tailing winches. Brand names alone do not establish fit for every model. Confirm the size against your winch before selecting a cover. The adjustable drawstring is intended to help provide a snug fit, but the description does not specify dimensions for the five sizes.
Before You Decide
Check your winch’s dimensions and type, then match them to the selected cover size. Also confirm the color option and remember that the coating is described as water-resistant, not waterproof.
