Key Features Explained
The shade can be removed when it is no longer needed, and the forward-or-back adjustment lets you reposition it slightly on a compatible chair. It is intended to provide personal shade rather than establish that a separate umbrella is unnecessary.
What to Compare Before Buying
- Measure the chair backrest width and check it against the 17 to 33-inch range.
- Check that the chair has round tubing within the stated 7/8 to 1 1/8-inch diameter range.
- Also assess the frame shape and available mounting clearance. Tubing diameter alone does not confirm compatibility.
Compatibility, Size and Fit
The shade is described as accommodating most RIO, Tommy Bahama, and Margaritaville aluminum beach chairs, but the stated width and tubing measurements do not guarantee a fit. Frame shape and mounting clearance also matter. Check the exact chair frame before choosing this shade.
What Is Included
The package includes the clip-on shade and a storage bag with a carry strap. The chair is not included.
Safe Use and Important Precautions
Do not stretch or force the clips or snap ties. Do not use them if they appear strained.
Before You Decide
Confirm the backrest width, round-tubing diameter, frame shape, and mounting clearance on the chair you plan to use. Remember that the chair is sold separately.
