What to Compare Before Buying
Consider whether the footprint’s 83 x 69-inch dimensions and 0.75-pound weight suit your tent setup and packing preferences. Its listed packed dimensions are 10 x 10 x 1 inches. The description identifies water and wear-and-tear protection as its purpose, but does not specify a protection rating.
Compatibility, Size and Fit
The listed compatible tents are the MSR Access 3, MSR Hubba Tour 3, MSR Zoic 3, and MSR Remote 3. The description also says it fits similarly sized tents. For a tent not named here, compare its floor dimensions with the footprint’s 83 x 69-inch size rather than relying on the word “universal.”
What Is Included
The stated contents are one footprint tarp and one stuff sack. A manufacturer’s 3-year limited warranty is also listed; check its terms for the applicable coverage details.
Before You Decide
Confirm your tent’s model or floor dimensions, then consider the footprint’s weight and packed size. Check that the selected configuration includes the tarp and stuff sack if both are important to you.
