What to Compare Before Buying
- Floor space: The stated 12 x 12 ft footprint should match the area you plan to pitch.
- Interior height: The 7.5 ft peak height affects how much standing room you want.
- Stove setup: The 5" stove jack matters only if you plan to add a wood burning stove.
- Capacity: The tent is stated for up to 8 people, or 4 when a stove is used. Compare that with your actual sleeping layout.
- Ventilation: The 6 windows and 2 vents are part of the comfort check for the conditions you expect.
Choosing the Correct Version
The key version check here is the stove-ready configuration. Confirm that you want the SR model with the 5" stove jack rather than a version without that feature.
Before You Decide
Confirm the 12 x 12 ft size, the 7.5 ft peak height, and the stove-ready 5" stove jack before choosing an offer. Also check whether the stated capacity fits your group size and setup plan.
