What to Compare Before Buying
- Load limits: Compare the carrier’s 500 lb stated capacity with the applicable limits for your vehicle and hitch receiver. The carrier rating does not establish those separate limits.
- Receiver fit: Confirm that your vehicle has a 2-inch receiver and that this carrier suits your setup.
- Available space: Check the 60 x 23 inch platform dimensions against the cargo you plan to carry and the space around the rear of your vehicle.
Compatibility, Size and Fit
The carrier is described as fitting most vehicles equipped with a standard 2-inch receiver, including SUVs, pickup trucks, vans and RVs. That does not establish fit for every vehicle in those categories, so confirm compatibility with your exact vehicle and receiver.
What Is Included
The listed contents are a 500D PVC cargo bag with a 16.5 cu ft capacity, a 36 x 60 inch cargo net and two 1 x 197 inch tie-down straps. Confirm that the selected configuration includes these items.
Important Limitations
The 500 lb figure is the carrier’s stated capacity and should not be treated as the load limit for the complete vehicle and hitch setup. The description does not specify installation or loading procedures. Use the applicable carrier and vehicle instructions.
Before You Decide
Confirm the 2-inch receiver fit, the relevant vehicle and hitch load limits, and whether the listed bag, net and two straps are included in the selected configuration.
